Reachox is an IoT device management application developed and operated by Reachox Co.. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Reachox mobile application and related services.

By using Reachox, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

  • Authentication credentials (managed securely via Firebase Authentication)

Identity Verification

  • Civil ID number
  • Civil ID photo (uploaded for verification purposes)

Device & Hardware Data

  • Mobile device identifiers
  • Bluetooth-connected Reachox hardware device data
  • Device telemetry and sensor readings
  • Location data associated with device operation

Usage Data

  • App usage analytics and interaction patterns
  • Error logs and diagnostic information

3. How We Collect Your Information

Information is collected through the following methods:

  • Direct input -- when you create an account, enter profile details, or upload your Civil ID
  • Third-party sign-in -- when you authenticate via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In
  • Bluetooth connection -- when you pair and interact with Reachox hardware devices
  • Automated collection -- device telemetry, usage analytics, and diagnostic data gathered during normal app operation

4. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used for the following purposes:

  • Account management -- creating, maintaining, and securing your user account
  • Identity verification -- verifying your identity through Civil ID for service eligibility
  • Device pairing and control -- connecting to and managing your Reachox hardware via Bluetooth
  • Service operation -- processing telemetry data, monitoring device status, and delivering core functionality
  • Improvement -- analyzing usage patterns to improve the app experience
  • Communication -- sending service-related notifications and updates

5. Third-Party Services

Reachox integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google) -- used for user authentication, data storage, and analytics. Data processed by Firebase is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple Sign-In -- if you choose to sign in with Apple, your authentication is handled by Apple's services, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Sign-In -- if you choose to sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google's services, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Data is shared with third-party services only as necessary to operate the application.

6. Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures:

  • All data transmission between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption
  • User authentication is managed through Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security protocols
  • Sensitive data is encrypted at rest on our servers
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Civil ID photos are stored securely and used solely for verification purposes

While we employ reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services. If you choose to delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed (see Section 8).

Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytical and improvement purposes.

8. Account Deletion

You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.

How to delete your account: Open the Reachox app, go to Settings → Delete Account, and confirm the deletion.

When you delete your account, the following actions occur:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number) is permanently deleted from our backend servers
  • Your Civil ID data and photo are permanently deleted
  • Your device data and telemetry records are permanently deleted
  • Your Firebase Authentication account is permanently deleted
  • All associated data is removed and cannot be recovered

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate data
  • The right to request deletion of your data (see Section 8)
  • The right to withdraw consent for data processing
  • The right to data portability where applicable

10. Children's Privacy

Reachox is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
